The school and its mission

Advanced Cosmetology Academy has been running since 2021 and is officially registered in New York State as a professional school. We provide hands-on continuing education for cosmetologists — what in the US is called an esthetician, though for our Russian-speaking audience we all say «cosmetologist».

Our mission is simple: this is a school where we believe in you. We don't filter people out — we bring them up. Whether you're starting from scratch or already practicing, we meet you at your level and take you further.

My story

I came to the US and worked as a cosmetologist with my own clientele, and I gave private lessons. I always loved teaching — it's something I adore doing. Over time those private lessons grew into a real school.

I teach the way I wish I had been taught: honestly, hands-on, with respect for the student. I don't keep secrets and I don't gatekeep — I want my graduates to be stronger than me.
